This time I will be demoing this sweet scene of Bainbridge Island, Washington, submitted by subscriber Linda. I'll use watercolor and ink on a paper around A4 size.

I liked this scene for the mix of architecture and nature, and interesting texture in the shore. Also I spent a couple days on Bainbridge recently (it’s a 30 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle) so it feels extra relevant.

I couldn’t decide what to work from this time, so I asked the community. I really like this idea of working from submitted photos from y’all! There is a Substack Chat thread open for paid subscribers now. Feel free to drop one in anytime, and I might do a demo based on it someday. Thanks to those of you who responded so far!
